References are lost, uncertainties reinforced.

Creating poetic images from tragic, diabolical or perverse theories to better confront the observer with value judgements and social references: a dystopia is engendered, between reality and the work presented. 

The use of information, communication and knowledge in a society that has never been so informed is the basis concept of my artistic work. Access to information has evolved: knowledge from books, experience and know-how is being replaced by the Internet, which has become a condenser. This is how information is distorted, modified and manipulated. My work focuses on these processes: I adopt them as my modus operandi. 

All research is based on the most widely used search engines, Google, Wikipedia, YouTube etc.

Digital information —images, videos, graphic supports, Excel data— is uploaded then manipulated on various softwares. Depending on the digital databases, the perceptible image becomes abstract, open to all interpretations. Far from its visual matrix, but closer to digital reality, the image obtained is the result of the fusion of all the information collected. Loss of references forces the subconscious mind to look for other evaluation parameters.
